Hi there darling.. I don't have much to report. Just sheer exhaustion. I must say the days are going quickly for me. Kids have a way of fast forwarding your life. I really hope you feel the same way. I will try to send a care package asap.. If you have any special requests make it known now or it wont make it till next time around.


Here's one cute thing Ro said today in the car.

"mom do we have the fat show?"

"You mean The Biggest Loser? No sweetie pie that show is over now.?"

to which she replied...
"if you lose something, you'll probly find it."

I pretty sure she though they lost something since the show's called biggest LOSER..

I really don't make this stuff up.. Her little brain is just workin everything out.

A CAR RIDE WITH RO...

Setting: Driving to New Jersey. Ben and Ava are asleep in the backseat and Ro has that familiar expression on her face... Hmmmnn

"Mommy is Aurora human?" Yes Ro she is..

"Well what about Ariel, if she's a mermaid is she human?"No. Well i guess sometimes Ariel is human and other times she is a Mermaid.

"Am I human, is Benny and Ava human, what about you are you human?" yes we are all human.

"Sooo Daddy is human... and all mommy's and daddy's are human." Yes.

.... "Is a tree human?" No.

"Can a human be a plant?" No

"Can a flower be a human?" No sweetie.

"okay." And that is the conclusion of ~ Mermaid vs Human vs Plant. ~

Pretty existential for a three year old..


Here a few other interesting little coments from the same drive...
"Mommy I know the word 'bridge' sounds like 'fridge' and the word Ben starts with 'B''. That's great honey, good job. ......
"Ben and Ava and Me are gonna be friends. Elle and Jack and Wolfie are gonna be friends togetho too. I want to play with Elle but she is a tiny baby and when she gets bigger like Ben then we can all play togetho!"

Other fun things that happened over Memorial weekend...
Playing with cousins. Swiming in baby pool, playing in the yard... Then 3 little girls streaking with popsicles then skinny-dipping in the baby pool... Then there was a crazy heat storm that rolled in so everyone ran inside and watched it from the front porch.... Then some of the kids ran around in the rain (still naked) and luke john streaked across the front yard chasing the pot of gold at the end of a the rainbow.. Nicole lost her cell phone and went running around in the rain with a dish towel on her head, looking for it then a nice dry Aimee found it in her pocket!! Lots of laughs, lots of crazy kids, and the neighbors are now certain your family is "coo coo -for coco puffs" .. I think the Toueys were having a prayer meeting while our kids were hooting and hollering and streaking.. Ha HA ha.
