4 Months Old

Rowan just had her 4 month doctor's appointment. So as of Yesterday she is 26 1/2 inches long and weighs 15 1/2 lbs. We may be ready to try solid foods! Ro is adding all sorts of accomplishments to her repetoire. As of now she can sit up with help, roll over onto her left and right side and onto her belly. And if that isn't exciting enough, she's starting to hold and play with toys. All of these things are great but honestly I'm sure most of you don't care about baby stats.... I will tell you this.... She is LAUGHING now. not just giggling or cooing, full belly laughs. Watchout Grandpa! She's just waiting for you to get home from Colorado so you can start making her laugh!!

Welcome

I am very lucky to have such wonderful family. My only regret is, that as life gets more complicated and free time becomes scarce, it's difficult to stay close to all of you. I didn't realize until I had Rowan, just how fast life moves. She is 4 months old today... Every day is a new adventure. Today I sat her on my dresser so she could look in the mirror. She was awestruck. Staring for a few minutes then smiling and wiggling her toes as she realized she was looking at herself. I'm not planning on writing novels. I know no one is ever going to be as enamored with her as I am. That's what mom's are for. I just thought if anyone was curious you could check in every now and then on our little family.
